A leading global professional services and consulting organization is seeking a GCP Cloud Analytics Engineer – Sr Consultant to help clients build modern cloud analytics solutions. The organization partners with enterprises to design scalable data ecosystems, accelerate digital transformation, and enable data-driven decision-making through advanced cloud technologies and analytics.

Summary
The GCP Cloud Analytics Engineer – Sr Consultant will design, develop, and implement end-to-end cloud analytics solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role involves working with enterprise clients to build scalable data architectures, optimize analytics capabilities, and support business transformation initiatives while leading key project deliverables across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design and contribute to end-to-end cloud analytics architectures using Google Cloud Platform services.
  • Support full lifecycle implementations, including data ingestion, transformation, governance, and analytics enablement.
  • Develop and optimize cloud-based data solutions using structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Apply automation and analytics techniques to improve business insights, decision-making, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead portions of complex technology engagements and coordinate project delivery across distributed teams.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver scalable cloud analytics solutions.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technology consulting or industry experience designing and implementing Google Cloud Platform solutions.
  • Experience with at least one full lifecycle implementation using Google Cloud Platform technologies.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with SQL and Python.
  • Experience leading workstreams across technology engagements involving distributed teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% based on client and project requirements.
  • Experience with Snowflake and Databricks is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services, including BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Data Fusion, Cloud Pub/Sub, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Spark, Java, Apache Kafka, and Striim is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Google Cloud Platform certifications are preferred.
  • Advanced degree in a technical or analytical discipline is a plus.
  • Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
