A global enterprise software leader is seeking a Senior Agentic AI Engineer to join their Product Management Regional Implementation Group (RIG). The organization delivers cutting-edge business technology solutions across 20+ industries and supports 80% of global commerce. The team focuses on AI-enabled applications, intelligent automation, and cloud services to help customers adopt innovative technologies while shaping the company’s products with real-world feedback.

Summary
The Senior Agentic AI Engineer will design, develop, and implement AI-enabled applications on the SAP Business AI Platform, including Joule Studio 2.0 and related services. This role involves hands-on development, close collaboration with customers, and translating emerging AI technologies into production-intent solutions across the Americas.

Responsibilities

  • Build AI-enabled applications, intelligent workflows, and automation solutions using SAP technologies
  • Collaborate with customers, product managers, development architects, and technical teams to design scalable solutions
  • Translate business requirements into functional architectures and production-ready implementations
  • Stay current on SAP platform capabilities, product releases, and emerging AI technologies
  • Provide structured feedback from customer engagements to inform product improvements
  • Create reference implementations, sample code, configuration examples, and developer enablement materials
  • Ensure solutions address LLM production concerns, including grounding, guardrails, latency, cost optimization, and observability

Qualifications

  • University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years of software development experience, building and shipping production systems
  • Strong full-stack engineering fundamentals; experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, UI5) and backend languages (Python, Node.js, Java, Go)
  • Experience with cloud-native development (AWS, Azure, GCP, SAP BTP), Docker, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and API design
  • Practical AI expertise: generative AI, LLM orchestration, prompt engineering, RAG patterns, and agentic architectures
  • Experience building AI agents using frameworks such as MCP, A2A, LangGraph, or CrewAI
  • Familiarity with knowledge graphs, vector stores, relational databases, and embedding pipelines
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of deliverables, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Passion for continuous learning and applying AI innovations to production-grade solutions
  • SAP ecosystem experience (SAP BTP, SAP Build, Joule, SAP AI Core) is a strong plus
