Summary
The Director, Artificial Intelligence, will build and lead a world-class AI organization, overseeing the development and deployment of predictive models, recommendation systems, and end-to-end AI solutions. This role combines strategic leadership, technical expertise, and stakeholder collaboration to advance AI capabilities and drive measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a best-in-class AI organization, collaborating with business and technology leaders to develop and execute the AI roadmap
• Lead a team of data scientists in designing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms for complex supply chain challenges
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, guiding AI and Gen AI adoption to achieve business outcomes
• Ensure high client satisfaction through quality delivery and strong partnerships
• Define global AI and Gen AI vision, product, technical strategy, and framework
• Develop and execute the overall services strategy, aligning with company goals and market trends
• Guide decisions on cutting-edge technical and business approaches, including the development of new AI tools
• Facilitate communication between executives, staff, management, vendors, and other technology resources

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 7+ years of experience in data science, operations research, and/or software engineering with AI and ML, including building and deploying AI models
• 5+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing teams
• Strong technical background in machine learning, including practical experience with large-scale predictive models and recommendation systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence partners and clients using data insights
• Proficiency in AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch) and programming languages (e.g., Python)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Data Science, Information Technology, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 12+ years of experience leading, managing, and developing high-performing teams
• Proven leadership experience in data analytics, AI, or related roles, including designing and implementing data science solutions
• Experience managing technical engagements across data engineering, data science, AI, and Gen AI workstreams
• Experience delivering solutions on major cloud platforms, data science tools, and Gen AI technologies
• Strong business acumen, including P&L management, revenue growth, and client engagement
