Summary
The GCP Cloud Analytics Engineer – Senior Consultant will design and implement large-scale data ecosystems, leveraging cloud platforms to generate actionable insights. This role requires expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools, data engineering, and analytics, along with the ability to collaborate across global teams to deliver client-focused solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Implement large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance, and integration of structured and unstructured data using cloud-based platforms
  • Leverage automation, cognitive, and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios, and prescribe actions
  • Maintain and optimize clients’ data ecosystems while providing analytics-as-a-service offerings for continuous insights
  • Collaborate with Strategy practice teams to architect organizational intelligence programs and differentiated strategies
  • Lead workstreams and coordinate resources across multiple locations
  • Create client-facing materials and presentations for workshops and interactive sessions

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of technology consulting or industry experience contributing to end-to-end architecture and solutions using GCP
  • At least one full lifecycle implementation using GCP toolset
  • 2+ years experience with SQL and Python
  • 1+ years experience leading workstreams in complex technology engagements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50% on average
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

  • Experience with Snowflake cloud data warehouse and Databricks
  • Experience with GCP Cloud DataFlow, Spark, Java, and Apache Kafka/Striim
  • Knowledge of GCP services including BigQuery, Cloud Data Fusion, Cloud Pub/Sub, and Kubernetes
  • GCP Certifications
  • Experience with other leading cloud platforms, including Azure and AWS
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation design
  • Advanced degree in relevant area preferred
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and judgment capabilities
