A leading healthcare organization is seeking an Advanced Analytics Analyst II to join its Analytics Hub within the finance department. The company provides comprehensive health insurance solutions and leverages advanced analytics to improve operational performance, support strategic initiatives, and enhance member experiences. Position Summary
The Advanced Analytics Analyst II will serve as an analytics lead for business units and collaborate closely with technical teams to deliver effective data analytic solutions. This role involves building analytic data repositories, understanding complex data structures, and providing actionable insights to guide corporate strategy. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who can solve complex data challenges and act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-impact business analytics by transforming complex data into actionable insights and requirements
  • Partner with technical teams to support and evolve the organization’s National Data Warehouse (NDW) in alignment with business priorities
  • Maintain and advance cloud-based enterprise data assets, assess new data opportunities, and shape requirements for future analytic capabilities
  • Lead enhancements to analytic reporting data assets, ensure data accuracy, and guide users in leveraging insights effectively
  • Translate findings from data mining, UAT results, and quality assurance checks into clear, actionable recommendations that inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to support shared organizational goals

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of professional experience; experience with healthcare data (e.g., medical claims, pharmacy claims, eligibility) highly desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Healthcare, or related discipline
  • Proficiency in SQL required; experience with SAS, R, Python strongly preferred
  • Experience working with large-scale relational databases, especially Snowflake, is highly desirable
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-directed, organized, adaptable, and outcomes-driven
  • Collaborative mindset and team player
