A global cybersecurity leader is seeking a Principal Product Manager to drive innovation in network security and device lifecycle management. Summary
The Principal Product Manager will lead the strategy and execution of NGFW operations and device lifecycle management. This role involves understanding customer problems, defining product vision, and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that simplify device management and enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer problems and use cases through market research and direct engagement
  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and detailed feature requirements
  • Collaborate with UX, engineering, and other product teams to deliver optimized, automated solutions
  • Partner with product marketing to create messaging, sales enablement tools, and marketing content
  • Engage with customers, partners, and sales engineering teams to gather feedback and evangelize the product vision
  • Work with technical marketing and support teams to train field personnel, manage beta programs, and act as a subject matter expert
  • Analyze product data and market trends to make informed decisions and prioritize the product backlog effectively

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 6+ years, or PhD with 3+ years in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 7 years of direct product management experience in an enterprise technology environment
  • Proven experience in Network Security, Networking, Network Management, or Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW)
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into clear, actionable product requirements and user stories

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience managing NGFW devices, including full lifecycle from onboarding to decommissioning
  • Experience in fast-paced, agile environments with overlapping project deliverables
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive innovative solutions
