Company Overview

A technology company is building infrastructure that enables AI agents to communicate and work with the tools professionals use every day, including GitHub, Gmail, Notion, Salesforce, and other business applications. Its platform focuses on solving challenges across context, search, and tool connectivity to create a capable bridge between AI agents and the tools they need to accomplish tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Build in Public

  • Build and ship demos, prototypes, and technical content that demonstrate what AI agents and connected tools can accomplish.
  • Create technical content across formats including X threads, short-form videos, YouTube videos, livestreams, podcasts, and other developer-focused channels.
  • Explain technical concepts in an accessible and engaging way for developers and AI practitioners.
  • Experiment with different content formats and continuously evaluate what generates meaningful developer engagement.

Own Developer-Facing Communication

  • Manage the organization’s presence across platforms such as X and LinkedIn.
  • Develop a recognizable technical voice that resonates with the AI developer community.
  • Build and maintain an authentic public presence as a technical voice within the AI ecosystem.
  • Produce content that is informative, technically credible, engaging, and relevant to developers.

Community & Events

  • Represent the organization at San Francisco meetups, hackathons, developer conferences, and other industry events.
  • Build genuine relationships with developers, engineers, AI builders, and members of the broader AI community.
  • Share insights and learnings from developer interactions with the wider community.
  • Stay connected to emerging trends, projects, and conversations across the AI developer ecosystem.

Experimentation & Execution

  • Take an action-oriented approach to content, demos, and developer engagement.
  • Quickly ship focused, signal-generating experiments such as technical posts, demos, or short videos.
  • Analyze performance and engagement to determine which initiatives should be expanded, refined, or discontinued.
  • Operate independently and take initiative without relying solely on predefined content calendars.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on software development experience with the ability to build applications, integrate APIs and SDKs, and ship working technical demonstrations.
  • Experience working with AI agents, LLMs, MCP, and the modern AI development stack.
  • Ability to create technical content that makes complex concepts understandable and engaging for developers.
  • Comfortable creating and publishing content publicly across written, video, audio, and live formats.
  • Strong understanding of what developers find technically valuable and engaging.
  • Ability to distinguish authentic technical content from traditional marketing-oriented messaging.
  • Strong opinions and high standards for technical content quality.
  • Ability to move effectively between formats including text, video, audio, presentations, and live demonstrations.
  • AI-native mindset with an active interest in LLMs and developments across the AI ecosystem.
  • Strong ownership mentality with the ability to define goals, determine what to build, execute independently, measure results, and adapt based on outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with developers and community members.
  • Willingness to acknowledge limitations, learn continuously, and communicate authentically.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Based in San Francisco or open to relocating.
  • Existing audience or demonstrated track record of building in public.
  • Hands-on experience with AI agents, LLMs, MCP, and modern AI developer tools.
  • Established presence within the AI developer community through open-source contributions, technical writing, content creation, or building in public.

  • Experience creating technical demonstrations and educational content for developer audiences.
