What You Will Work On
- Design and implement end-to-end features spanning user interfaces and scalable backend services.
- Improve the performance, scalability, and responsiveness of core applications across the full technology stack.
- Collaborate directly with customers to translate business and user needs into effective technical solutions.
- Build reliable data pipelines and integrations supporting product functionality.
- Design systems that enable AI-driven automation capabilities.
- Scale the engineering organization while maintaining a high level of technical talent and engineering excellence.
- Lead development efforts across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and platform systems.

Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead and manage a team of Software Engineers.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to strengthen design, coding, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Manage team health, establish goals, conduct performance reviews, and support individual career development.
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
Strategic Execution & Delivery
- Partner with functional teams to define and execute roadmaps that deliver measurable business and customer outcomes.
- Contribute hands-on code for up to 20% of weekly time based on team and project needs.
- Drive continuous improvements across engineering processes, developer experience, and delivery pipelines.
- Collaborate with leadership, Customer Success, and Operations to align technical initiatives with broader organizational objectives.
Architectural Guidance & Standards
- Guide critical architectural decisions focused on scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Establish and maintain high standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and engineering excellence.
- Contribute to technical designs and write or review code, particularly for complex or high-impact projects.
- Help establish a strong and scalable technical foundation for the organization’s core products and infrastructure.
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with strong proficiency across backend technologies such as Java or Python and frontend technologies such as React.
- 2+ years of engineering leadership experience, including managing an engineering team or leading multi-quarter technical initiatives.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality, user-facing product features across the full technology stack.
- Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, observability, monitoring, and system reliability engineering (SRE) practices.
- Demonstrated ability to balance people leadership with meaningful technical contributions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong sense of ownership, bias toward action, and commitment to leading by example.
- Passion for mentoring engineers and helping teams develop strong technical and problem-solving capabilities.
