The organization is seeking a Data Engineer to architect and build the data infrastructure that supports business decisions, personalized user experiences, and continued global growth. This role will develop scalable data systems supporting real-time sleep analytics, machine-learning-powered personalization, business intelligence, and the infrastructure required to serve an expanding global user base.

The successful candidate will be a highly experienced data engineering professional with strong expertise in modern data platforms, data modeling, analytics infrastructure, and large-scale batch and streaming systems. This role requires someone who can translate complex technical challenges into business value while maintaining a strong focus on reliability, performance, and engineering quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Build data systems that support expansion strategy, customer acquisition, conversion, retention, and business growth across global markets.
• Develop sophisticated analytics infrastructure that enables data-driven decisions related to growth strategies, market prioritization, and product development.
• Build scalable infrastructure for processing customer behavior, revenue metrics, and market performance data.
• Architect data systems capable of scaling seamlessly from thousands to millions of users.
• Develop analytics pipelines that power personalized sleep recommendations, temperature optimization, and wellness insights.
• Create dashboards and automated insights that improve operational efficiency across business functions.
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to transform complex user and business data into actionable growth opportunities.
• Establish and maintain reliable data infrastructure with appropriate monitoring, testing, and performance optimization.
• Promote engineering best practices and provide technical mentorship to other members of the team.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building production data platforms that support high-stakes decision-making at scale.
• Advanced proficiency with modern data technologies including SQL, Python, DBT, and Snowflake.
• Proven experience designing batch and streaming architectures capable of handling large-scale workloads while maintaining high performance.
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Strong commitment to data quality, reliability, monitoring, testing, and operational excellence.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with executive leadership, engineers, and junior team members.
• Deep expertise in data modeling and data warehousing, including dimensional models, star schemas, One Big Table (OBT), and performance optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor technical teams and drive adoption of engineering best practices.
• Strong understanding of scalable analytics infrastructure and data platforms supporting rapidly growing businesses.
