The organization is driving innovation in World Models, Physical AI, and 3D perception, developing cutting-edge AI technologies that power millions of autonomous vehicles and intelligent robotic systems worldwide.

The organization is seeking an AI Engineer, Geometric Vision, Tesla AI to contribute to the development of advanced World Models and Physical AI technologies. The successful candidate will play a key role in solving complex challenges involving 3D perception, Neural Simulation, and large-scale AI systems while building solutions that can be deployed across millions of autonomous vehicles and robots.

This role requires a highly skilled AI engineer with expertise in deep learning, computer vision, robotics, and geometric reasoning. The ideal candidate will collaborate with world-class engineers and researchers to develop scalable AI models that accelerate the realization of full autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop 3D foundation models and World Models using large-scale fleet data.
  • Build automated data generation pipelines that produce high-quality ground truth datasets for real-world perception challenges.
  • Deploy and scale AI solutions across millions of autonomous vehicles and robotic platforms worldwide.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering and AI teams to advance autonomous driving technologies.
  • Develop innovative AI solutions that improve 3D perception, neural simulation, and physical world understanding.
  • Optimize machine learning models for production deployment and large-scale performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven ability to rapidly prototype, evaluate, and optimize advanced algorithms.
  • Strong proficiency in developing production-quality software using Python.
  • Experience with C++ is considered an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of deep learning, linear algebra, geometry, and probabilistic theory with hands-on implementation experience.
  • Expertise in computer vision and robotics, including feedforward 3D perception and modeling, neural rendering, autoregressive models, video generation, and multimodal AI generation.
  • Practical experience developing deep learning models using PyTorch.
  • Familiarity with deploying neural network models into production environments is preferred.
