The Opportunity
As part of the Data and Analytics Engineering team, the ERP AI Engineer – Manager will serve as both a technical leader and a trusted advisor to clients, combining AI and machine learning knowledge with business acumen to design and deliver AI solutions that drive measurable client outcomes.
The role will involve leading teams of data scientists and machine learning engineers, managing client relationships, and translating complex business challenges into AI-driven strategies and solutions. This position provides an opportunity to shape AI solution architecture while driving innovation, technical excellence, and successful client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor teams of data scientists and machine learning engineers.
- Manage client relationships and promote satisfaction with project deliverables.
- Translate complex business challenges into AI-driven strategies and practical solutions.
- Design and implement scalable AI solution architectures.
- Drive innovation and technical excellence across client engagements.
- Analyze data to derive actionable insights and business solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish project objectives, requirements, and expected outcomes.
- Ensure AI solutions align with business needs, technical requirements, and organizational standards.
- Promote high standards of quality, integrity, and professional delivery across all projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- At least 7 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data science, or a related technical role.
- Experience developing and implementing AI and machine learning solutions.
- Strong understanding of data analytics and AI solution architecture.
- Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineering or data science professionals.
- Strong client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working with Large Language Models and prompt engineering.
- Experience building scalable, cloud-native microservices and containerized deployments.
- Proficiency with MLOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines for machine learning.
- Experience with vector databases and semantic search architectures.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business problems into practical AI solution designs.
- Experience contributing to business development activities and proposal writing.
- Cloud certifications in AI/ML or solutions architecture.
- Familiarity with Responsible AI principles and bias mitigation practices.
- Experience with Oracle data and analytics technologies, including Oracle Database, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Data Integrator, Oracle Data Visualization, or Oracle Machine Learning.
