Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive data architecture strategies that address current and future business needs.
- Lead large-scale data engineering projects and drive process innovation.
- Maintain operational excellence while engaging with clients at a strategic level.
- Develop and document data models, data flow diagrams, and data architecture guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and professional standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate data requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Drive project success through strategic advising, problem-solving, and thoughtful decision-making.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging data technologies and tools.
- Provide thought leadership across data strategy and engineering engagements.
- Develop leading practices for Data Engineering, Data Science, and Data Governance.
- Architect and implement cloud-based data solutions that meet applicable industry standards.
- Foster a diverse, inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment.
- Coach and mentor team members while supporting their professional development.
- Navigate complex and uncertain situations while maintaining composure and effective leadership.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to clients and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong experience in data engineering and data architecture.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data solutions.
- Strong understanding of data governance and data security principles.
- Experience developing data models and data flow diagrams.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong leadership, strategic advisory, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in cloud platforms, such as AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Data Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Architect, GCP Data Engineer, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, or Azure Data Engineer Associate.
- Snowflake Core or Snowflake Architect certification.
- Databricks Data Engineer Associate certification.
- Experience designing and implementing comprehensive data architecture strategies.
- Experience developing and documenting data models and data flow diagrams.
- Experience maintaining data architecture compliance with governance and security policies.
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience evaluating and recommending new data technologies and tools.
- Experience leading data strategy engagements and providing technical thought leadership.
- Experience developing leading practices for Data Engineering, Data Science, and Data Governance.
- Experience architecting and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet industry standards.
