A leading global creative technology organization is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join its Content Intelligence team. The team sits at the center of a broad creative ecosystem and focuses on applying machine learning to better understand creative content across stock media, creative communities, and generative AI platforms.

The Opportunity

The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will lead the development of machine learning models and systems focused on content understanding. The role involves working closely with product and engineering leadership to align technical requirements and opportunities with broader product goals.

The successful candidate will contribute to ambitious machine learning initiatives, provide technical leadership to engineering teams, and help advance the application of artificial intelligence to large-scale creative content.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of machine learning models that support innovative content understanding capabilities.
  • Design, develop, evaluate, and deploy machine learning systems for production environments.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering management to align technical solutions with product objectives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver complex and ambitious projects on schedule.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive engineering environment.
  • Monitor emerging advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence and incorporate relevant technologies into solutions.
  • Work with research and product teams to transition new technologies and approaches into practical production systems.

What You Need to Succeed

  • 5+ years of industry experience developing, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models into production.
  • Strong knowledge of Python and Python-based machine learning and data science frameworks.
  • Proficiency in at least one deep learning framework, such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Proven experience leading major successful technical initiatives.
  • Experience collaborating with both research and product teams to integrate new technologies.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts.
  • Excellent technical communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering team members.
  • A degree in computer science, statistics, operations research, applied physics, engineering, or another related quantitative field.
