Overview

The organization is seeking a Data Scientist with a strong foundation in both data science and data engineering. This role requires an individual who can develop predictive models while also designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.

The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to transform data into actionable insights and production-ready solutions. The position offers the opportunity to work with modern technologies in a collaborative and agile environment while contributing to high-quality software and data solutions at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and deploy machine learning models for business use cases.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Apply statistical techniques to solve complex business problems.
• Communicate analytical findings clearly to stakeholders through visualizations and reports.
• Design and conduct A/B tests and other experiments.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using ETL/ELT processes.
• Work with large datasets in distributed computing environments.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, accuracy, and reliability across systems.
• Optimize data workflows and processing performance.
• Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to develop data-driven solutions.
• Translate business requirements into effective technical implementations.
• Deploy machine learning models into production and monitor their performance.
• Contribute to best practices for technical documentation, reproducibility, and data science workflows.
• Support the development of scalable, high-performance data platforms that enable personalized customer experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on innovative data and technology initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Multiple years of professional experience in data science and/or data engineering roles.
• Strong programming skills in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with traditional machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines using technologies such as Airflow and Spark.
• Solid understanding of statistics and probability.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed data environments.
• Strong understanding of data engineering principles and scalable data infrastructure.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience developing production-ready machine learning solutions.
• Experience with cloud computing technologies and modern data platforms.
• Knowledge of real-time data processing and distributed systems.
• Experience with data quality, reliability, and workflow optimization.
• Experience designing and evaluating A/B tests and experiments.
