Key Responsibilities
Build and Ship AI Agents
- Implement agentic workflows that automate complex audit tasks.
- Translate customer problems into discrete, testable agent behaviors.
- Integrate large language models, tools, and retrieval logic into reliable agent experiences.
- Monitor and maintain AI agents in production with a strong focus on reliability and performance.
Execute with AI-Native Leverage
- Use AI tooling to accelerate the design, development, and testing of software features.
- Prototype quickly while hardening systems for enterprise-grade reliability.
- Build evaluations and feedback loops that continuously improve agent outputs.
- Develop prompts and retrieval pipelines that perform reliably at scale.
Contribute to Product Impact
- Work closely with senior engineers and product teams to scope and deliver features.
- Translate customer workflows into clear engineering requirements.
- Identify and communicate capability gaps that can improve team velocity.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a strong software engineer who has developed their technical capabilities for an AI-native environment. The candidate should be highly curious, collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working through ambiguity.
- Demonstrates a strong bias toward building and resolving uncertainty through shipping.
- Excited to use LLMs, AI agents, and automation as core development tools.
- Demonstrates strong curiosity and the ability to learn new technologies and problem domains quickly.
- Communicates proactively and actively seeks feedback from teammates and stakeholders.
- Maintains a strong focus on software quality and customer-facing outputs.
- Comfortable receiving direction from senior engineers while operating independently within defined areas.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience shipping production software in real-world systems.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python.
- Exposure to LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini, or experience with related AI development tools.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments and learn rapidly.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and an interest in applying them to AI-native systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with retrieval pipelines, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), or vector databases.
- Experience with React.
- Experience with PostgreSQL.
- Experience building AI-powered applications, agents, or automation workflows.
- Understanding of production AI reliability, evaluation, and monitoring.

The compensation range for this opportunity is $150,000 – $220,000, with equity also offered. The applicable base salary may vary depending on factors including location tier, transferable or job-related skills, professional experience, relevant training or certifications, business needs, and market conditions. Compensation ranges may cover multiple career levels and are subject to change.
