Key Responsibilities

• Build and ship customer-facing features from initial concept through production rollout and iteration based on customer feedback.
• Define and maintain data contracts between the AI agent and the financial system of record.
• Develop feedback and evaluation loops that capture product signals and translate them into product improvements.
• Run experiments involving UI flows, prompt-driven product changes, and new review experiences.
• Analyze product and customer data to make informed decisions about product direction.
• Engage directly with customers and reviewers to understand their workflows, challenges, and needs.
• Translate customer insights into product priorities and engineering solutions.
• Collaborate closely with engineers working on AI agents and customer-facing experiences.
• Contribute to system design, data modeling, API architecture, and product infrastructure.
• Build frontend experiences when the customer problem requires direct ownership of the UI.
• Push back on technical or product decisions when improvements are needed across agent design, user experience, data models, or workflows.
• Deliver reliable production systems that make AI-powered financial operations trustworthy and easy to use.

Required Qualifications

• Strong track record of shipping customer-facing features end-to-end across backend and frontend systems.
• Experience building and delivering production software across multiple technical layers.
• Strong product mindset with the ability to prioritize users, workflows, and measurable outcomes.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments and communicate directly with customers.
• Strong bias toward action and demonstrated ability to independently identify, build, and ship new solutions.
• Experience working across team boundaries and influencing decisions outside of direct areas of ownership.
• Strong backend engineering foundation, including system design, data modeling, and API architecture.
• Ability and willingness to contribute directly to frontend development when required by customer needs.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with AI engineering, product, design, and frontend teams.
• Willingness to challenge existing approaches and identify better solutions for customers.

Work Arrangement

This role is based in San Francisco, California. The position follows a hybrid working model that combines in-office collaboration with remote flexibility. Employees are expected to work from the office three coordinated days per week: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The role also provides the opportunity for up to four weeks of fully remote work per year.
