The organization operates across multiple international offices and serves a broad range of businesses. Its Operations team works at the intersection of strategy, execution, and customer experience, partnering closely with Engineering, Product, Legal, Security, and Data teams to optimize processes, deliver strategic initiatives, and build scalable operational infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end program management for cross-functional data and AI governance initiatives, including sprint management, progress tracking, and steering committee reporting.
- Map dependencies across multiple domains and align stakeholders on data and AI governance strategies, priorities, and sequencing.
- Establish strategies for implementing data and AI governance frameworks while assessing whether controls are proportionate to the risks they address.
- Define and track success metrics for data and AI governance programs.
- Translate governance requirements into operational processes that reduce data access risks without unnecessarily restricting business operations.
- Lead access management, access reviews, and technical hardening initiatives.
- Conduct technical deep dives into access control implementations across systems such as Okta, Databricks, and internal operational tools.
- Establish access control standards and requirements for new systems.
- Drive requirements and design documents through development, review, and approval with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain an AI model and use-case inventory to track legal, compliance, and governance risks.
- Partner with Legal teams to translate regulatory requirements into actionable policies and operational processes.
- Facilitate cross-functional working groups and ensure consistent progress across governance workstreams.
- Communicate program status, risks, dependencies, and outcomes to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably within a fast-growing technology company, top-tier strategy or management consulting firm, or equivalent environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing capabilities, particularly when working with Engineering and Legal teams.
- Experience with data governance initiatives, including data tagging, classification, and ownership.
- Experience coordinating access management initiatives across multiple functions.
- Experience reviewing access to sensitive data, identifying risks, and driving remediation efforts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage programs end-to-end, including sprint facilitation, dependency mapping, progress reporting, and cross-functional alignment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for technical and executive audiences.
- Strong self-management skills with the ability to identify, prioritize, and execute high-impact opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience interpreting and operationalizing regulatory requirements within financial services or payments environments.
- Experience with AI governance best practices and established governance frameworks.
- Experience translating privacy and AI regulations into actionable requirements and controls.
- Relevant privacy or AI governance certifications, such as CIPP or AIGP.
- Familiarity with identity and access management platforms such as Okta.
- Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Databricks.
- Experience within technology, financial services, payments, or other high-growth environments.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments with high standards, rapid iteration cycles, and evolving priorities.
- Strong curiosity and willingness to learn quickly, adapt to changing requirements, and take on challenging opportunities.
