Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic data and analytics partner to the CEO, CFO, and regional business leaders.
- Translate complex data landscapes and analytical findings into actionable business strategies.
- Own the organization’s global forecasting engine and oversee sophisticated statistical models and analytical tools.
- Aggregate top-down and bottom-up forecasts to support annual planning and capital allocation decisions.
- Lead the development of causal inference frameworks to measure the impact of macroeconomic changes and internal business initiatives.
- Drive the strategy and roadmap for Generative AI and Machine Learning applications across analytics and business intelligence.
- Develop AI-powered solutions that automate insights, improve operational efficiency, and create proprietary data products.
- Build, scale, and lead a world-class team of data scientists and engineers.
- Oversee talent acquisition, performance management, mentorship, and professional development.
- Establish a culture of technical excellence, critical thinking, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Balance deep technical execution with strategic business priorities and high-impact growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, applied machine learning, or quantitative strategy.
- At least 5 years of experience managing high-performing technical teams.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with executive leadership at the C-suite or VP level to influence corporate strategy through data and analytics.
- Hands-on experience developing and deploying advanced forecasting, causal inference, or machine learning models in production environments.
- Deep expertise in causal inference, time-series forecasting, and applied machine learning.
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Python or R.
- Experience with modern data platforms and technologies such as Airflow, Databricks, dbt, and Snowflake.
- Proven experience productionizing Generative AI applications or agentic workflows to automate business intelligence and reporting.
- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to prioritize initiatives based on business impact.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex analytical findings to executive stakeholders.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-scaling environments with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s or advanced degree in a highly quantitative discipline such as Econometrics, Statistics, or Machine Learning.
- Experience in fintech, global payments, or high-growth B2B SaaS environments.
- Experience working within a CEO Office, corporate strategy, or similar executive function.
- Experience balancing advanced technical execution with high-level business strategy.
- Familiarity with global macroeconomic indicators and their influence on cross-border transactional data.
- Experience building teams, analytical systems, and operating practices from the ground up.
