The Opportunity
As part of the Data and Analytics Engineering team, the AI Engineering Manager will manage client relationships and ensure project deliverables meet expectations. As a Manager, the role involves leading engineering teams, managing client accounts, supporting strategic planning, and mentoring junior professionals while maintaining high standards of quality, innovation, and delivery.
The successful candidate will leverage AI engineering, machine learning, cloud-native development, and modern software engineering practices to deliver scalable solutions for complex business requirements.
Leadership and Professional Expectations
- Analyze and identify linkages and interactions between the component parts of complex systems.
- Take ownership of projects, ensuring successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.
- Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables.
- Develop skills outside existing areas of expertise and encourage others to do the same.
- Effectively mentor and develop team members.
- Use work reviews as opportunities to deepen the expertise of team members.
- Address conflicts and issues effectively, including engaging in challenging conversations with clients, team members, and stakeholders when appropriate.
- Uphold professional and technical standards, organizational codes of conduct, and applicable independence requirements.
- Lead with integrity and authenticity while promoting innovation and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 5 years of experience in AI engineering or a related field.
- Experience working with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or advanced analytics.
- Strong technical leadership, communication, and team management capabilities.
- Experience translating complex business requirements into technology solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Data Processing, Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, or a related discipline.
- Experience designing, training, and deploying machine learning models.
- Experience developing scalable, cloud-native microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience building end-to-end AI applications integrated with various platforms.
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines for AI systems using GitHub Actions.
- Experience implementing vector databases and AI orchestration tools such as LangChain.
- Ability to translate complex business problems into software-engineered AI solutions.
- Experience deploying AI solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
- Contributions to open-source projects, AI/ML research, or technical publications.
