The AI Engineering Senior Associate will develop, test, and validate Generative AI agents and data pipelines, with a focus on reliability, scalability, governance, and alignment with professional and technical standards.

The successful candidate will analyze complex technical problems, apply critical thinking to develop effective solutions, interpret data to generate actionable insights, and collaborate with teams to support AI-enabled solutions.

The Opportunity

As part of the People Tech & AI team, the AI Engineering Senior Associate will contribute to the development, testing, and validation of Generative AI agents and data pipelines. The role provides an opportunity to work with automated testing, governance controls, LLM evaluation frameworks, and enterprise data quality practices while contributing to innovative AI-driven solutions.

The successful candidate will build technical expertise, collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior professionals, and maintain high standards of quality, documentation, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply automated testing and governance controls effectively.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for AI agents.
• Analyze complex technical issues and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Test and validate Generative AI agents and associated data pipelines.
• Evaluate AI and LLM solutions using defined evaluation frameworks and metrics.
• Validate integrations with the Power Automate platform.
• Collaborate with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and other technical professionals.
• Mentor and guide junior associates in technical tasks and development activities.
• Support the reliability, scalability, and quality of AI-enabled solutions.
• Uphold professional, technical, documentation, and quality standards.
• Apply critical thinking and a broad range of tools, methodologies, and techniques to solve complex problems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Processing, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, AI/ML engineering, quality engineering, or a related technology field.
• In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible technology work experience may be substituted for each missing year of college, in addition to the minimum experience required for the role.
• Experience working with data engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or quality engineering concepts.
• Ability to analyze data and translate findings into meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three years of specialized training in technology.
• Experience with test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering concepts.
• Understanding of enterprise data patterns and data quality frameworks.
• Experience building and maintaining automated test suites for AI agents.
• Experience validating integrations with the Power Automate platform.
• Experience executing LLM evaluation frameworks using defined metrics.
• Experience collaborating with data scientists and ML engineers.
• Strong understanding of AI governance, testing, documentation, and quality practices.
• Ability to adapt to ambiguous and evolving technical environments.
• Strong communication, mentoring, and collaboration skills.
