The role sits within a Deals practice focused on originating, creating, executing, and realizing value from mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital markets. The team develops technology-driven solutions that embed advanced analytics and emerging technologies into a broad range of deal-focused services.

The Opportunity

As a Deal Data Technology & Analytics Manager, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in helping organizations leverage technology and data to drive better deal decisions and execute transactions more effectively.

The role requires a combination of data analytics expertise, technology knowledge, strategic thinking, project leadership, and client management. The successful candidate will work with professionals across the Deals practice to develop solutions using data analysis, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and visualization technologies.

The Manager will also motivate, develop, and inspire team members while leveraging individual strengths, managing performance, and maintaining high standards of quality and integrity. The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to identify opportunities that contribute to successful client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead data-driven initiatives designed to enhance decision-making across mergers and acquisitions.
• Manage and guide teams executing complex data analysis and machine learning projects.
• Utilize advanced data analytics and visualization tools, including Alteryx, Power BI, and Tableau, to develop insightful dashboards and reports.
• Oversee the integration and validation of data from multiple sources to support transaction services.
• Develop and implement data quality improvement plans to maintain data integrity and security.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for value creation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data solutions.
• Coach and mentor team members to strengthen their capabilities in data science and analytics.
• Translate complex data insights into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for clients.
• Uphold ethical standards and professional business conduct across all data-related activities.
• Manage client relationships and ensure projects achieve their objectives while meeting quality and delivery standards.
• Support strategic planning and execution within data-driven deal environments.
• Lead teams in delivering innovative technology and analytics solutions for complex transactions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in data analytics, technology, machine learning, predictive analytics, or a related field.
• Experience managing complex data projects and delivering solutions aligned with client objectives.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, communication, and leadership capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or academic background in Accounting, Engineering, Data Processing, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer and Information Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Certification or demonstrated expertise in databases such as Databricks or MS SQL.
• Certification or demonstrated expertise in visualization platforms such as Power BI.
• Certification or demonstrated expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Certification or demonstrated expertise in predictive modeling or machine learning technologies such as Python or SAS.
• Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
• Advanced knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics.
• Experience managing complex data projects with a strong focus on client outcomes.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans within data-driven environments.
• Experience leading teams in the delivery of innovative analytics and technology solutions.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to develop junior professionals.
