A leading global professional services organization is seeking an experienced Applied AI Health Data Architect-Senior Manager to join its Data and Analytics Engineering team. The role focuses on designing and implementing robust data architectures and solutions for healthcare organizations. The Applied AI Health Data Architect-Senior Manager will design and implement comprehensive data architecture strategies that enhance healthcare operations. The role will involve influencing key stakeholders, delivering innovative data solutions aligned with the evolving needs of health systems, and developing high-performing teams committed to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute strategic data architecture strategies for healthcare organizations.
- Influence and engage key stakeholders to align on innovative data solutions and strategic priorities.
- Develop, mentor, and lead high-performing teams focused on operational excellence.
- Analyze and address evolving healthcare needs through data-driven insights and solutions.
- Lead initiatives that enhance healthcare operations through impactful data management and architecture.

- Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, standards, and data protection requirements.
- Drive strategic improvements in data architecture to support organizational goals.
- Apply systems thinking to identify underlying technical and business problems and opportunities.
- Validate outcomes with clients, incorporate feedback, and provide alternative perspectives when appropriate.
- Guide teams through complex, ambiguous, and challenging situations while maintaining composure and focus.
- Develop and maintain expertise in emerging technologies, data engineering, healthcare data, and artificial intelligence.
- Initiate open and constructive coaching conversations across all levels of the organization.
- Make informed decisions and take appropriate action to resolve issues affecting team effectiveness.
- Uphold professional and technical standards, organizational codes of conduct, and applicable independence requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- At least 8 years of professional experience.
- Extensive experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related technical disciplines.
- Strong experience designing and implementing data solutions for complex organizations.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and strategic advisory skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with EMR back-end databases.
- Familiarity with HL7 v2, FHIR R4, and healthcare interoperability standards.
- Proven track record architecting data solutions for healthcare programs.
- Experience navigating HIPAA compliance and handling Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Ability to bridge clinical, operational, and technical discussions.
- Experience with healthcare-specific integration engines and middleware.
- Experience applying Generative AI techniques to healthcare use cases.
- Proficiency in Python or SQL for data transformation.
- Understanding of how data architecture supports healthcare quality reporting.
- Experience developing data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions.
- Strong understanding of modern data architecture and analytics engineering practices.
