The organization is seeking a Lead Data Mgt Engineer – Archiving/ILM to join its AI & Data practice. This role is responsible for leading the design and delivery of enterprise data management solutions, supporting large-scale client engagements, and driving modern data architecture initiatives across cloud and hybrid environments.

The successful candidate will combine deep expertise in Data Archiving, Information Lifecycle Management (ILM), and enterprise data platforms with strong leadership capabilities. This position requires close collaboration with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions, manage technical workstreams, and contribute to the continued growth of the AI & Data practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead small client engagements or key workstreams within large-scale data and analytics transformation programs.
• Design and implement cloud and hybrid data architectures, migration strategies, and enterprise data management solutions.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and align technical delivery with business objectives and program goals.
• Oversee the quality of technical deliverables while contributing to hands-on solution implementation across distributed teams.
• Support business growth through proposal development, thought leadership, and mentoring junior team members.
• Deliver enterprise data archiving and information lifecycle management solutions that improve system performance and governance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize technology and data platforms using AI and engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of consulting experience in Data Archiving and Information Lifecycle Management (ILM), including retention management, data integrity, system performance optimization, and legacy system decommissioning.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with SAP ILM, SAP Data Archiving, JiVS IMP, OpenText VIM, and E-invoicing solutions.
• 2+ years of experience leading and delivering complex technology engagements across geographically distributed teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to travel up to 50%, depending on client and project requirements.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Previous consulting experience in client-facing delivery roles.
• Experience developing presentation materials and technical collateral for workshops and customer engagement sessions.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to both small and large audiences.
