The organization is seeking a Data Scientist to drive data-driven decision-making across product, engineering, and business functions. This role will focus on developing analyses, experiments, and measurement frameworks that directly influence core business metrics, user experience, operational efficiency, and revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with practical business judgment, working closely with engineers, product managers, and leadership teams to transform data into actionable insights. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to AI-powered products while helping define the next generation of data science practices within a rapidly evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain key performance indicators for ranking systems, interview analytics, and payout-related products.
  • Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and quasi-experimental studies to support product and business decisions.
  • Build and maintain source-of-truth dashboards and scalable data models that enable self-service analytics across teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve event instrumentation, data quality, and data pipeline efficiency.
  • Develop and prototype predictive models ranging from baseline approaches to advanced machine learning techniques to improve matching and scoring systems.
  • Support the evaluation of AI and LLM-powered agents through human-in-the-loop studies, evaluation frameworks, and monitoring mechanisms.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a culture of experimentation, measurement, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
  • Experience using Python for data analysis, modeling, and experimentation.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, experiment design, and causal inference concepts.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to engineers, product managers, and business leaders.
  • Ability to move quickly, prioritize effectively, and translate analysis into actionable outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with dbt or similar data transformation tools.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence and dashboarding platforms such as Hex, Mode, or Looker.
  • Experience working with marketplace, search, recommendation, or ranking metrics.
  • Interest in or exposure to LLM evaluation, AI agents, retrieval systems, and machine learning applications.
