The organization is seeking a Senior Data Scientist Engineer to collaborate directly with clients in designing and developing innovative AI and machine learning solutions. This role combines technical leadership, strategic consulting, and hands-on development to create next-generation tools, products, and AI-driven services.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients to understand business objectives, data assets, and operational requirements while leading exploratory analysis, model development, and long-term AI solution design. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside interdisciplinary teams of data scientists, engineers, architects, and consultants on cutting-edge projects that deliver meaningful business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide clients in AI strategy and solution development with a high degree of autonomy.
• Analyze organizational needs and perform exploratory data analysis to identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation.
• Design, build, validate, and deploy machine learning and AI models into production environments.
• Lead client engagements focused on delivering AI and machine learning solutions while providing strategic guidance and long-term support.
• Research and implement advanced machine learning techniques, including state-of-the-art model architectures, training methodologies, and optimization approaches.
• Validate AI models and algorithms through code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Drive project prioritization and model development efforts to maximize business impact and support emerging initiatives.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Present technical findings and recommendations to clients and leadership teams.
• Contribute to the development of innovative AI products, tools, and services.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD degree in a STEM-related discipline such as Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience developing AI and machine learning algorithms using Python, PyTorch, and related frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience working with data analysis techniques including natural language processing (NLP), time-series analysis, and computer vision.
• 3+ years of experience applying traditional machine learning and deep learning methods, including CNNs, RNNs, and GANs, in production environments.
• 3+ years of experience deploying and optimizing machine learning models using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, TensorRT, Triton, RAPIDS, Kubeflow, and MLflow.
• 3+ years of experience deploying AI and machine learning workloads in cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Ability to travel approximately 10% based on client and project requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective professional relationships.
• Experience leading projects or workstreams and providing guidance to team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a client-facing consulting environment.
• 2+ years of experience leading project teams delivering complex AI and data science solutions.
• 1+ year of experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, or related technologies.
• 1+ year of experience using AWS SageMaker or AWS Machine Learning Studio.
• Experience developing agentic AI solutions and advanced AI-powered applications.
