The organization is seeking an M&A Data Analytics Manager – LSHC to support transaction engagements within the Life Sciences & Health Care (LSHC) sector, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotechnology, healthcare services, healthcare technology, distribution, and contract research/manufacturing organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key member of M&A deal teams by gathering, analyzing, validating, and normalizing transactional, commercial, and operational data.
  • Develop and test investment hypotheses through detailed analysis of product-level sales, claims, inventory, pipeline, customer, and channel data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams performing financial, accounting, operational, and commercial due diligence.
  • Analyze revenue quality, pricing realization, customer concentration, rebate programs, chargebacks, reimbursement exposure, and contract structures.
  • Evaluate payer mix, operational performance, and revenue trends within healthcare and life sciences organizations.
  • Design and develop dashboards, visualizations, and business intelligence solutions that communicate actionable insights.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and performance drivers within financial and operational datasets.
  • Coordinate with client business and IT teams to collect, validate, and manage data within regulated environments.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to C-suite executives, private equity firms, and senior stakeholders.
  • Lead project workstreams and support transaction engagements under tight deadlines.
  • Mentor and develop consultants while promoting collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Contribute to client deliverables and support the successful execution of buy-side and sell-side transaction analyses.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience analyzing large and complex datasets.
  • Experience analyzing accounting, financial, transactional, or operational data.
  • Experience within life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, healthcare services, or other regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of key business processes, including Order-to-Cash, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Inventory Management.
  • Knowledge of pricing models, reimbursement structures, government contracts, GPO agreements, distributor models, and healthcare revenue cycles.
  • Demonstrated understanding of business analytics methodologies and relational database concepts.
  • Experience utilizing AI-powered tools to extract insights and support data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL and data preparation tools such as Alteryx or similar platforms.
  • Experience creating dashboards and visual storytelling solutions using Tableau, Power BI, Excel, or similar tools.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced transaction environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% based on business and client requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with a large or mid-sized consulting firm specializing in finance, accounting, or transaction advisory services.
  • Experience supporting healthcare or life sciences M&A transactions.
  • Minimum of 2 years of team leadership or people management experience within a consulting environment.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, data modeling, and database design principles.
  • Experience using programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or similar analytical tools.
  • Experience presenting findings and recommendations to executive-level stakeholders.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a related advanced degree.
  • CPA, CA, or similar professional certification.
