A global technology leader is seeking a data science professional to support its growing portfolio of digital services and subscription-based businesses. The organization is seeking an App Store Data Scientist to join a Revenue and Subscriptions Data Science team focused on supporting transaction and subscription businesses across a broad portfolio of digital services. This role will play a critical part in understanding business performance, measuring the impact of key initiatives, and identifying opportunities to improve subscription health, transaction efficiency, and revenue growth.

The successful candidate will leverage advanced analytics, experimentation, and causal inference methodologies to evaluate business performance and guide strategic decision-making. This position requires strong technical expertise, business acumen, and the ability to communicate actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish, enhance, and communicate top-line and operational metrics that accurately reflect business performance and health.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses using large-scale datasets to uncover insights that inform product improvements and business strategies.
• Design, develop, and execute experimental measurement plans for new subscription and commerce products and features.
• Utilize advanced analytical techniques, including A/B testing and causal modeling, to measure the impact of multiple business initiatives.
• Analyze and optimize areas such as in-app purchases, subscription renewals, payment authorizations, and transaction efficiencies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional partners across business, product, marketing, finance, and leadership teams.
• Deliver actionable recommendations based on data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare and present regular business reviews and analytical findings to executive leadership and C-level stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or digital product analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience working with large-scale data processing technologies such as PySpark.
• Proven experience measuring user behavior, customer engagement, and business impact using advanced analytical methodologies.
• Strong understanding of experimental design, A/B testing, and interpretation of observational data.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a digital subscription business or e-commerce platform.
• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
