The organization is seeking a Senior Data Scientist, ASE iCloud Data Organization to drive high-impact analytics initiatives supporting cloud services and related products. This role involves partnering with engineering, product, design, and business stakeholders to uncover opportunities, optimize user experiences, and influence strategic decisions at a global scale.

The successful candidate will combine technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to deliver actionable insights, lead complex analytical projects, and promote data-informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and Business teams to define priorities, establish measurement frameworks, and translate insights into growth strategies.
  • Deliver data-driven recommendations and narratives that inform product direction and business roadmaps.
  • Drive alignment across teams by communicating analytical findings and their implications to diverse stakeholders.
  • Design and maintain performance metrics that measure product health, user engagement, and business impact.
  • Lead controlled experiments and apply causal inference methodologies to evaluate initiatives and optimize outcomes.
  • Conduct in-depth behavioral analyses to identify drivers of engagement, retention, and churn, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to define instrumentation requirements and develop reliable data pipelines.
  • Build, deploy, and maintain machine learning and statistical models that support predictive and diagnostic decision-making.
  • Leverage Generative AI technologies to automate analytical workflows and enhance measurement capabilities at scale.
  • Support a culture of data-driven decision-making by influencing stakeholders across multiple functions.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in data analytics or data science.
  • 5+ years of experience applying statistical modeling and machine learning techniques in production environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional initiatives and shape product or business strategy through data-driven insights.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to senior leadership and executive audiences.
  • Deep expertise in product analytics, launch reporting, and impact measurement.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or R.
  • Strong foundation in statistics, experimentation, and experimental design methodologies.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous problem spaces, prioritize effectively, and deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Experience applying Generative AI or ML-powered agents to automate analytical workflows and build data products.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience with experimentation frameworks such as A/B testing and multi-armed bandits.
  • Expertise in advanced causal inference techniques, including matched markets and synthetic controls.
  • Hands-on experience working with large-scale data ecosystems such as Hive, Spark, and Presto.
  • Experience building scalable, reproducible analytical pipelines.
  • Proven success leading or influencing initiatives within complex, cross-functional environments.
