The organization is seeking a Data Engineer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of data infrastructure that enables semiconductor productization across a wide range of consumer devices. This role combines software engineering and data engineering expertise to build scalable data platforms, robust pipelines, and data-driven applications that generate actionable insights from large-scale datasets.

The successful candidate will collaborate with engineers, data scientists, analysts, and product teams to design reliable, high-performance data solutions while ensuring data quality, governance, and operational excellence across critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines and data processing systems.
  • Parse and process text logs and Standard Test Data Format (STDF) data.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize database performance and query efficiency.
  • Implement data quality monitoring, validation, and governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to productionize machine learning models.
  • Design and enhance data architectures that support large-scale analytics workloads.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot data infrastructure issues.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions.
  • Ensure high standards of data integrity, availability, and performance across systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on data systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming.
  • Experience with Oracle SQL and database design principles.
  • Experience working with Linux operating systems.
  • Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in semiconductor or high-tech research and development (R&D) and manufacturing environments.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data-focused software development.
  • Experience working with Cassandra NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with machine learning workflows and MLOps practices.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and business intelligence platforms.
  • Experience building scalable analytics platforms and data-driven applications.
