The organization is seeking a Staff AI Engineer to help design and deploy intelligent systems that automate complex financial workflows. This role focuses on building agentic AI solutions that transform manual, time-consuming processes into seamless, real-time experiences through advanced AI orchestration and automation.

The successful candidate will work on high-visibility challenges, leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies and large-scale financial datasets to create reliable, production-ready systems. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with exceptional engineering teams while contributing to the future of intelligent financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and deploy AI agents using frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, and emerging open-source technologies.
  • Apply appropriate AI techniques across the spectrum, including prompting, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), fine-tuning, and model training.
  • Design and optimize agent architectures for reasoning, tool utilization, and workflow automation.
  • Develop systems that continuously improve through usage, enabling compounding AI capabilities.
  • Collaborate with backend and frontend engineering teams to integrate AI reasoning into secure, scalable production environments.
  • Build and maintain intelligent automation systems that support complex, multi-step financial processes.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable AI infrastructure and best practices for enterprise deployments.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in applied AI/ML engineering with production deployments.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, and TensorFlow.
  • Demonstrated experience building and deploying AI agents, orchestration frameworks, or multi-step reasoning systems.
  • Understanding of monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement processes for production AI systems.
  • Ability to balance innovation with reliability, scalability, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments.
  • Experience working on complex technical challenges in fast-paced, high-growth environments is preferred.
