The organization is seeking an Engineering Manager, Growth Engineering to lead a high-performing engineering team focused on user acquisition, onboarding experiences, and strategic market expansion. This role is responsible for building and scaling engineering capabilities, fostering a culture of ownership and excellence, and driving business growth through technology, experimentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
The successful candidate will bring extensive engineering leadership experience, a passion for mentoring teams, and the ability to align technical strategy with organizational objectives. This position offers the opportunity to influence mission-critical platforms while contributing to the company’s continued global expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead talent strategy by recruiting, onboarding, and developing top-tier engineers and engineering managers.
- Build and scale a high-performing engineering organization with strong succession planning and career development frameworks.
- Establish team goals, career paths, and performance management processes while fostering an inclusive and accountable culture.
- Provide regular coaching, mentorship, and feedback to support professional growth across the engineering organization.
- Drive cross-functional execution alongside stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Support, and Engineering teams.
- Communicate technical progress, strategic insights, and business impact to executive leadership and key organizational stakeholders.
- Foster collaboration across local and global engineering, infrastructure, and product teams.
- Provide strategic leadership for mission-critical platforms while aligning technical direction and capacity planning with business and regulatory requirements.
- Support experimentation initiatives, onboarding optimizations, and scalable solutions that contribute to sustainable business growth.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- At least 3+ years of leadership experience managing high-performing engineering teams.
- Proven success in recruiting, onboarding, and developing engineering talent, including building succession plans and career ladders.
- Experience managing performance and compensation processes within engineering organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to foster an inclusive, high-accountability engineering culture.
- Strong ability to navigate ambiguity, make technical trade-offs, and align engineering initiatives with business objectives.
- Excellent communication skills with experience translating technical concepts for Legal, Risk, Compliance, and executive stakeholders.
- Proven track record of building API-driven and integration-heavy systems in production environments.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience working within fast-paced, global technology environments is highly desirable.
