Summary
The Staff/Sr. Staff AI Engineer for Enterprise AI Solutions will serve as a critical technical leader responsible for designing, developing, and implementing AI-powered solutions for complex enterprise challenges. The role requires deep technical expertise, hands-on problem solving, and mentoring capabilities to guide engineers and teams leveraging an enterprise AI platform to deliver scalable, robust, and ethical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of AI solutions, translating business problems into actionable AI designs
  • Manage model selection, data requirements, and system integration for AI applications
  • Develop and maintain core components of the enterprise AI/ML platform, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability
  • Design and optimize large-scale AI/ML systems with low latency and high throughput for real-time applications
  • Evaluate and integrate new AI tools, frameworks, and cloud solutions; lead proofs-of-concept for emerging AI innovations
  • Establish and champion architectural best practices and standards for AI systems
  • Mentor AI/ML engineers, lead design discussions, and perform code reviews to ensure engineering excellence
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Product Managers, and IT stakeholders to develop production-grade AI solutions
  • Ensure AI systems comply with responsible AI principles, security policies, and quality standards
  • Apply cutting-edge AI/ML techniques, including Generative AI and LLMs, to solve enterprise problems

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in software engineering, including 5+ years in Data Science, AI, or ML
  • Experience deploying enterprise AI/ML systems and understanding the AI lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLMs
  • Proficiency with AI/ML frameworks, cloud platforms, and distributed systems
  • Strong programming skills in Python and C++
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related computational field
  • Experience with open-source AI projects
  • Prior technical lead experience in AI/ML projects
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles applied to AI systems
