Summary
This role is designed for innovators at the intersection of finance, data science, and artificial intelligence. As the Finance AI Transformation Lead, you will architect the next-generation finance operating model and build an “AI-first” FP&A function. You will collaborate with senior leaders across Finance, IT, and the wider business to design and implement AI-native solutions from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives to develop AI agents and automated workflows scalable across FP&A teams
  • Redesign finance processes to be AI-native, moving beyond manual tasks to real-time, agentic solutions
  • Serve as Strategic Finance Tech Stack advisor, evaluating ERP systems and emerging AI vendors, recommending build vs. buy strategies for a scalable finance infrastructure
  • Leverage AI to deliver actionable insights and KPIs for proactive executive decision-making on resource allocation and investments
  • Lead cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, Finance SMEs, and IT to define objectives, align technical approaches, and drive projects from proof of concept to deployment

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Financial Systems Strategy or Finance Transformation with deep architectural understanding of transactional ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and EPM platforms (e.g., Pigment, Anaplan)
  • Proven ability to re-engineer workflows to reduce toil and improve data integrity via governance and change management
  • Hands-on experience operationalizing AI for FP&A, such as automated variance commentary or predictive forecasting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguous, “blue ocean” projects
  • Excellent project management skills with successful implementation of cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with finance leadership and teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; MBA or advanced technical certification is a plus
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation is preferred
