A leading global professional services organization is seeking an AI/ML Computational Scientist to deliver innovative AI and machine learning solutions. The organization helps clients across industries transform operations, leverage advanced analytics, and implement scalable AI strategies while fostering collaboration and innovation.

About the Role
The AI/ML Computational Scientist designs and delivers scalable AI and ML solutions that address complex business challenges. This role combines deep technical expertise with client engagement skills to develop models, build data pipelines, and deploy AI solutions in production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement machine learning algorithms, models, and computational systems
  • Design and build scalable data pipelines, applying MLOps/DevOps practices for production deployment
  • Customize Deep Learning and Generative AI models according to business needs, data availability, and infrastructure
  • Optimize model performance for HPC environments and edge devices
  • Conduct research and development of new AI and high-performance computing techniques
  • Prepare and preprocess large-scale datasets for high-quality model inputs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including business, engineering, and design—to deliver end-to-end AI solutions
  • Engage with clients to understand needs, shape AI strategy, and articulate solution value
  • Mentor junior team members on AI/ML methodologies and best practices

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in machine learning algorithms, model development, and computational systems
  • Hands-on experience with Deep Learning and Generative AI model customization
  • Experience building scalable data pipelines and working with large datasets
  • Practical understanding of MLOps/DevOps for model training, monitoring, and deployment
  • Experience with high-performance computing or edge deployment scenarios
  • Familiarity with cloud AI services (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS)
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business insights
  • Proven collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computational Mathematics, or related field
  • Experience optimizing models for HPC or resource-constrained devices
  • Knowledge of Generative AI frameworks and large language models
  • Research or publication experience in AI/ML
  • Experience in consulting or client-facing delivery environments
  • Knowledge of causal inference, probabilistic modeling, or simulation techniques
  • Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects
