A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Director of Analytic Solutions to drive enterprise-wide analytics initiatives. Summary
The Director of Analytic Solutions serves as a strategic liaison to analytics leaders, translating business objectives and challenges into actionable roadmaps for data solutions and infrastructure improvements. This role oversees key analytic platforms, standardizes business definitions, and ensures the organization’s data assets are effectively utilized to support critical business decisions.
Responsibilities
Act as Product Owner for critical datamarts (e.g., QEDM, CDR, MEDM) supporting financial analytic reporting
Create and maintain a registry of analytic tools, coordinating updates and addressing data issues with Enterprise Technology
Evaluate and guide the acquisition or retirement of analytic tools based on organizational needs
Serve as Data Producer for unowned data domains and Data Consumer to flag issues, in partnership with Enterprise Data Governance
Lead migration and transition of analytic systems to the Analytic Data Hub (ADH) and DAL environment
Standardize business definitions in collaboration with relevant business areas
Coordinate technical support and optimize the use of tools such as Tableau, Python, and Snowflake
Maintain a library of certified data sources to provide trusted starting points for analysis
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with leaders across all business functions (e.g., ET, Actuarial, PMI, Finance, Digital, Consumer Engagement)
Translate complex business challenges into actionable analytics use cases
Communicate analyses and recommendations effectively to senior leadership
Provide program oversight for strategic initiatives, ensuring effective project management, risk mitigation, and timely delivery
Support day-to-day operations, including managing scrums, prioritizing workloads, and managing timelines
Mentor and develop staff, fostering continuous professional growth and leadership
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, data solution design, and delivery
BA/BS required; MBA, MPH, or other advanced degree strongly preferred
Proven experience leading and managing staff in high-performance environments
Strong business acumen and ability to analyze diverse business functions and data needs
Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset in a matrix organization
Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Python, GitLab, and other modern data analytics tools
Experience with cloud-based analytics solutions (e.g., AWS, Snowflake)
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving, execution, and influencing capabilities
