A leading healthcare organization in the United States is seeking a Senior AI Product Owner to guide high-performing AI engineering teams. The organization focuses on innovative healthcare solutions and digital transformation, leveraging AI and analytics to deliver impactful products that improve patient care and operational efficiency.

About the Role
The Senior AI Product Owner will provide technical leadership and hands-on guidance to AI engineering teams, driving the development of agentic AI frameworks. This role ensures engineering excellence, scalable and robust AI solutions, and impactful product delivery. The position involves mentorship, architectural oversight, and strategic technical decision-making within AI initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor AI Engineers, enforcing architectural best practices, coding standards, and engineering excellence
  • Oversee Solution Design: Lead technical design and implementation of AI agent components, Generative AI integrations, and infrastructure
  • Drive Team Delivery: Collaborate with Product Owners to refine technical requirements, estimate efforts, and ensure timely, high-quality feature delivery
  • Ensure Code Quality: Establish rigorous code review processes to maintain quality, security, and maintainability
  • Solve Complex Technical Problems: Serve as the primary escalation point for technical issues, guiding solutions
  • Mentor and Develop Talent: Coach AI Engineers to grow technical skills and understanding of agentic architectures
  • Evaluate New Technologies: Assess tools, libraries, and frameworks to improve team efficiency and capabilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
  • 3+ years of experience developing agentic solutions, with strong knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and MLOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Proven experience in technical design and implementation of complex AI agent components
  • Hands-on experience designing AI agents leveraging Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and fine-tuning
  • Expertise in managing performance, scalability, and reliability of AI models in production
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical collaboration
  • Experience conducting code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and technology decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

  • Linux/Unix scripting experience
  • Experience with multiple cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Solution Architect Associate certifications, preferably in GCP or AWS
