Job Title: Backend Engineer – Data AML Engine
Location: Singapore
Job Description
Responsibilities
• Build an effective toolchain to improve development performance.
• Introduce new AI technologies to online systems supporting billions of users globally.
• Improve system reliability while managing scale and complexity challenges.
• Optimize hardware performance to handle high-volume requests.
• Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions applying principles of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
• Update software, enhance existing software capabilities, and direct software testing and validation procedures.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop performance specifications.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong programming experience in at least one modern language such as C/C++, Golang, or Python.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and multi-tenant system architecture, reliability, and scaling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication, self-motivation, engineering practice, and documentation skills.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with large-scale distributed systems like Spark and Elasticsearch.
• Knowledge of web technologies such as Django, Flask, or React.js.
