Job Description Department Overview
The International AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE) defines and implements the firm’s AI strategy, driving innovation through AI capabilities, enforcing data, cloud, and AI governance, and elevating the organization’s data culture.
Role Responsibilities
• Deliver information and analytics solutions by applying advanced data science and generative AI technologies to create meaningful business value.
• Develop, implement, and optimize AI systems at the intersection of research and application.
• Design and develop generative AI models across text, image, code, and multimodal applications.
• Research and implement novel approaches in prompt engineering, RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) systems, and model alignment.
• Translate business requirements into technical generative AI solutions, building and optimizing RAG systems and custom evaluation metrics for domain-specific tasks.
• Serve as a trusted partner across business units, shaping information and analytics strategies and roadmaps.
• Apply a risk-aware mindset when operating within control frameworks.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
• Proven experience developing and fine-tuning models using LLMs, diffusion models, and transformer architectures.
• Proficiency with AI frameworks such as Hugging Face, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
• Strong Python skills, including pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn for data analysis and model development.
• Hands-on experience in prompt engineering, few-shot learning, and in-context learning for AI applications.
• Familiarity with vector databases, semantic search systems, and generative AI evaluation metrics.
• Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable microservices and server-side APIs.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and cloud platforms such as AWS EC2 or EMR.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with global, cross-functional teams and manage multiple AI projects concurrently.
• Strong communication skills for presenting technical content to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Analytical problem-solving skills with experience deriving data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative fields with at least 5 years of relevant experience in data science or generative AI, preferably in financial organizations; Master’s in quantitative fields preferred.
• Experience working with multi-cultural, multi-disciplined, globally dispersed teams.
• Professional certifications in AI/ML frameworks, cloud technologies, or DevOps tools (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning, TensorFlow, Kubernetes) are advantageous.
