Job Title: Associate, AI Engineer
Department Overview
The International AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE) defines and implements the firm’s AI strategy, drives change through AI capabilities, enforces data, cloud, and AI governance, and promotes a strong data culture across the organization.
Role Description
• Deliver state-of-the-art AI solutions including Large Language Model (LLM) integration, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agentic systems.
• Responsible for integration, deployment, and monitoring of Generative AI products and solutions.
• Enable data architecture and delivery of AI platforms and analytics solutions on-premises, cloud, or hybrid, adhering to firm standards.
• Partner with business units to define information and analytics roadmaps and ensure effective adoption of AI solutions.
• Maintain a risk-conscious approach by adhering to controls frameworks and operational policies.
Skills, Experience, Qualifications, and Knowledge Required
• Proven experience designing and developing AI agents or chatbots using LLMs, RAG, and agentic frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with context-aware dialogue systems and multi-turn conversation management.
• Experience developing and maintaining APIs/SDKs for Generative AI services integration.
• Experience in deploying scalable, fault-tolerant microservices and server-side APIs with modern frameworks.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and Unix scripting for AI and data workflows.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS EC2, EMR, or similar) and hybrid data architectures.
• Proficiency in React and UI development is a plus.
• Experience collaborating with global, cross-functional teams across multiple regions and time zones.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple AI projects, meet deadlines, and handle senior management stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to document and present complex concepts.
• Analytical skills to assess technical problems, evaluate data-driven insights, and propose actionable solutions.
• Experience reviewing system requirements, identifying optimization opportunities, and proposing enhancements.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative fields with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering, Generative AI, or full-stack engineering; or Master’s in quantitative fields (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or similar).
• Experience working with multi-cultural, multi-disciplined, globally dispersed teams.
• Professional certifications in AI/ML frameworks, cloud technologies, or DevOps tools (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning, TensorFlow, Kubernetes) are advantageous.
