Job Title: Platform Engineer – Data Exploration Platform Management
Location: Singapore, Singapore

Job Description
Responsibilities
• Develop and deploy reliable, scalable, and secure Data Exploration Platform solutions.
• Manage the platform, including upgrades, patches, configuration changes, system resource allocation, and utilization.
• Optimize platform performance by troubleshooting and resolving data processing and query performance issues.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to maximize platform efficiency.
• Ensure platform security and compliance, including data access controls, authentication, and authorization.
• Provide technical expertise and support to stakeholders, including training and guidance on platform usage.
• Identify technology and system gaps and implement industry standards and best practices.

Requirements (Minimum Qualifications)
• Background in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of data science and machine learning concepts and tools, such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data quality principles.
• Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Competent in programming languages such as Scala, Python, or Java.
• Proficiency with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to Have
• Technical skills in data warehousing, ETL, data governance, and data visualization.
• Experience with cluster management and DevOps tools (e.g., Ansible, Kubernetes).
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud-based analytics platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Experience with Tableau Server design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Experience working in an agile and innovative environment.
