Job Description Responsibilities
• Build and maintain a cloud orchestration portal providing a single interface for developers to provision infrastructure, manage deployments, and monitor resource utilization.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable API services to provide developers access to infrastructure capabilities, such as object storage and file transfer pipelines.
• Identify and eliminate repetitive tasks to improve developer and infra engineer efficiency and overall system reliability.
• Implement observability for monitoring, assisting in problem diagnosis and providing insights into system health and performance.
• Define, track, and report on SRE metrics, including SLO, SLI, and error budgets.
• Collaborate with developers and infra engineers to understand requirements for reliable infrastructure services.
• Implement and adhere to security best practices for infrastructure systems and services.
Requirements (Minimum Qualifications)
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related STEM field with relevant experience.
• Experience in software development, including DevOps, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in infra-as-code and scripting tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Linux shell scripts, and Powershell.
• System operations and administration experience on enterprise systems.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience, including scripting and programming.
Nice-to-haves
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
• Experience with metrics and logging systems such as Elastic Stack or Prometheus/Grafana.
