Job Title: Data Engineer (High Speed Packet Processing)
Location: Singapore, Singapore

Job Description
Responsibilities
• Research, identify, and prototype new solutions to enhance existing capabilities or create new opportunities.
• Design, develop, test, and improve software following best practices, ensuring scalability, reliability, and high performance.
• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and stakeholders to solve complex problems and gain novel insights.
• Enhance existing DPI functionalities and optimize data processing systems to support business objectives.
Qualifications
• Background in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of software development experience in C/C++ and/or Python; relevant project or internship experience considered.
• Experience with network protocols and tools/libraries (e.g., Wireshark, Intel DPDK) is a plus.
• Familiarity with DPI engines such as Snort or Suricata.
• Linux programming experience.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD or similar.
• For senior candidates: at least 4 years of high-speed packet processing experience, proven design and implementation of compute-intensive systems, and experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
