Job Title: Senior Golang Engineer (Remote)

Job Description
Responsibilities
• Design and implement scalable backend services using Golang for real-time multiplayer games.
• Collaborate with game designers to integrate complex server-side game mechanics.
• Optimise system performance to handle high traffic and data throughput with minimal latency.
• Ensure the stability and security of gaming networks and data transactions.
• Maintain and enhance the codebase to improve scalability and efficiency.
• Lead technical discussions and code reviews to drive innovation and maintain coding standards.
• Solve challenging problems in areas such as distributed computing and high-performance computing.
• Stay at the forefront of technological advancements to incorporate cutting-edge solutions into the gaming experience.
Qualifications
• Over 3 years of professional software development experience, with a strong emphasis on Golang.
• Extensive experience in backend system architecture and high-performance computing for game development.
• Proficient in asynchronous programming, threading, and concurrency.
• Expert knowledge in system design integrating complex data structures and algorithms.
• Proficient in using version control systems like Git.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and automated testing environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) for gaming applications.
• Strong background in network programming and data security within the gaming industry.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and project management tools such as Jira.
• Effective communication in Mandarin is advantageous but not required.
