Job Title: Partner Engineer

Job Description
Responsibilities
• Build new products and enhance existing solutions in collaboration with product engineering teams, partnerships, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Apply knowledge of products, technologies, and business processes to solve problems at scale.
• Design, code, and implement end-to-end systems and go-to-market strategies.
• Leverage technical and soft skills to build productive relationships with partners and resolve complex technical and business challenges.
• Use product insights to deliver high-quality partner engagements while influencing product roadmaps to meet business needs.
• Guide workflow changes, gain stakeholder consensus, and drive solutions forward.
• Maintain effective communication with industry partners and internal teams.
• Collaborate with partners on long-term plans grounded in business objectives and manage integrations with platform products.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with technical counterparts.
• Mentor peers, conduct code reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
• Influence decisions through data-driven presentations and act as a subject matter expert within Partner Engineering.
• Participate in interviewing, onboarding, and knowledge-sharing with new team members.
• Travel requirement: up to 20%.

Minimum Qualifications
• Experience as a software engineer building and shipping production-quality code.
• Strong experience in writing reliable, scalable, and maintainable code, with documentation and test plans.
• Proficiency in open-source languages such as PHP, Python, Java, or JavaScript frameworks.
• Solid understanding of software design and architecture principles.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with data capture at scale or data analytics to inform decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications
• Client- or partner-facing experience and effective communication skills.
• Exposure to cutting-edge technology and open-source contributions.
• Experience collaborating in multi-person codebases.
• Contributions to developer or platform documentation.
• Experience working in highly collaborative environments.
