Job Title: Senior Data Engineer
Job Description Your Impact
• Work on real-world, high-impact projects across a varietdy of industries, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build complex ML systems.
• Develop a holistic perspective of AI by partnering with design, technical, and business experts.
• Leverage technologies such as Python, PySpark, PyData stack, SQL, Airflow, Databricks, Kedro, Dask/RAPIDS, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, and Azure.
Responsibilities
• Own the technical platform for advanced analytics engagements, spanning data science and data engineering.
• Design and build robust, modular, scalable, deployable, reproducible, and versioned data pipelines for machine learning.
• Create and manage secure data environments and ensure compliance with information security standards.
• Mentor junior colleagues and lead technical work streams.
• Assess client data landscapes and data quality.
• Collaboratively design and build GenAI applications (e.g., RAG, Agentic AI).
• Contribute to R&D projects, internal asset development, and cross-functional problem-solving with clients, including C-level executives.
• Engage with the global Data Engineering community and work in Agile project teams alongside Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, Project Managers, and industry experts.

Qualifications and Skills
• Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or related fields.
• Proficient in writing clean, maintainable, scalable, and robust code in Python, Scala, Java, or similar.
• Experience building production data pipelines for advanced analytics use cases.
• Working knowledge of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and best practices.
• Ability to scope projects, define workstreams, and mentor junior colleagues.
• Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Dask), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization, and analytics libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, matplotlib).
• Commercial client-facing or senior stakeholder management experience.
