Job Title: Applied Data Science Associate – Federal Pattern

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Successfully complete a structured 6-month training program to independently support customer engagements.
• Provide DataRobot platform and data science support to clients throughout the customer lifecycle, from presales to active engagement.
• Enable customers to solve complex data science problems through direct execution and guidance, including problem framing, data preparation, scripting, model building (predictive and generative), deployment, and output interpretation.
• Foster autonomy and encourage proactive identification and prioritization of customer problems and opportunities.
• Influence customers through thought leadership, translating complex technical concepts into mission outcomes using value-based messaging.
• Collaborate with sales, success, and engineering teams to help customers achieve goals and identify expansion opportunities.
• Act as the voice of the customer internally, informing product and engineering teams about future feature development.
• Assist in developing and implementing Joint Success Plans (JSP) to support customers in their AI journey.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (physical sciences, engineering, computer science, statistics, economics, or business analytics).
• 3+ years of experience building and implementing analytics solutions.
• Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
• Fluency in Python scripting; professional experience in data pipelines and data preparation.
• Work location hybrid (remote and on customer site) with potential travel for meetings or events.

Nice to Have
• Advanced degree.
• Experience supporting US Federal government organizations, especially DoD or IC.
• Experience with distributed/parallelized data computation, geospatial data manipulation, AI/ML modeling, consultative sales, and data platform integrations.
• Proficiency in additional programming languages (Java, Scala, JavaScript).
• Citizenship and Clearance Requirements: Must be a US citizen with active Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance.
