Job Title: Director of Analytic Solutions
Job Description Your Day to Day:
• Act as Product Owner for multiple key datamarts (e.g., QEDM, CDR, MEDM), supporting financial analytic reporting.
• Maintain a registry of analytic tools, coordinating updates and resolving data issues with Enterprise Technology.
• Evaluate and manage the acquisition or retirement of analytic tools by attending vendor pitches and assessing organizational needs.
• Participate in Enterprise Data Governance, serving as Data Producer for unowned data domains and as Data Consumer to flag issues.
• Lead the migration of Analytic Applications Services (AAS) to the Analytic Data Hub (ADH) and DAL environment.
• Standardize business definitions in collaboration with relevant business areas.
• Support day-to-day operations with Value Stream Management, including scrums, workload prioritization, and timeline management.
• Build collaborative relationships across business functions and serve as a trusted advisor, translating complex business challenges into actionable analytics solutions.
• Provide program oversight for strategic initiatives, ensuring effective project management, risk mitigation, and timely delivery.
• Coach, mentor, and motivate staff to develop future leaders and drive professional growth.
We’re Looking For:
• Ownership and management of key analytic databases and platforms, optimizing tools such as Tableau, Python, and Snowflake.
• Holistic understanding of organizational data usage to drive efficiencies and fill data ownership gaps.
• Develop a library of certified data sources for trusted analysis.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex analyses and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Ability to foster continuous professional development and strategic thinking among staff.
What You Bring:
• 10+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, including analysis, design, development, and delivery of data solutions.
• BA/BS required; advanced degrees (MBA, MPH) strongly preferred.
• Proven experience leading high-performance teams in a matrix organization.
• Strong business acumen and rapid understanding of diverse business functions and data needs.
• Deep understanding of software for data analysis, including SQL, Tableau, Python, and GitLab.
• Proficiency with modern cloud-based data and analytics technologies (e.g., AWS, Snowflake).
• Creative problem-solver with strategic thinking, execution ability, and influence across teams.
Minimum Education Requirements:
• High school degree or equivalent required unless otherwise specified.
