Delivery Manager (Data Analytics)
This role involves leading and managing data and analytics projects from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery within defined time, cost, and quality parameters. The Delivery Manager (Data Analytics) will be responsible for effective project scope, dependency, and timeline management, as well as overseeing project profit and loss (P&L) to meet gross margin expectations.
Responsibilities:
Manage and Lead Projects: Take ownership of data and analytics projects from initiation to successful completion.
Scope and Timeline Management: Effectively manage project scope, dependencies, and timelines.
Project P&L Management: Efficiently manage project resources to achieve the anticipated project gross margin.
Risks and Issues Management: Identify, proactively resolve, and mitigate project risks and issues.
Quality Assurance: Ensure projects are delivered within specified time, cost, and quality standards.
Efficient Execution: Oversee the performance of essential tasks to achieve efficient project objectives.
Stakeholder Management: Engage effectively with key stakeholders, managing and maintaining strong client relationships.
Team Development: Coach and develop project team members.
Proposal Leadership: Lead the development of project proposals, ensuring accurate cost estimation and adequate assumptions.
Desired Qualities:
Project Experience: Candidates should have experience managing 2 to 3 end-to-end data warehouse, data visualization, and/or analytics implementations. At least one of these implementations should have been for a government or education sector client as a vendor project manager.
Years of Experience: Possess 5 or more years of experience in data management and enterprise business intelligence implementations.
Leadership Experience: Demonstrated leadership skills, flexibility, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, managers, and senior executives in a consulting environment.
Problem-Solving: A self-starter with an analytical approach to problem-solving, who enjoys tackling challenges across various domains and industries.
Team Collaboration: Thrives in a highly energetic and competent team environment.
Quality Expectation: Prioritizes client satisfaction, focuses on outcomes, and upholds high-quality standards.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English.
