Division Manager, Data Analytics

This role is responsible for driving the strategic growth and operational excellence of the data analytics division. The successful candidate will lead efforts to expand the division’s consultancy and analytics portfolio, ensuring the achievement of annual revenue and profit targets.

Division Strategy & Business Growth

• Strategizes, plans, and grows the division’s consultancy and analytics portfolio to meet annual revenue and profit targets.
• Leads go-to-market strategy, value proposition development, and execution of analytics-enabled education solutions.
• Builds a sustainable pipeline of consulting, data analytics, and product development opportunities in collaboration with business development and pre-sales teams.
• Cultivates partnerships across higher education, public agencies, and workforce development organizations.

Data Analytics Leadership

• Provides thought leadership on leveraging data analytics to transform learning and training outcomes.
• Architects data strategies that enable predictive analytics, learning personalization, and competency measurement through the use of data analytics technologies.
• Oversees design and implementation of dashboards and analytics frameworks to meet learning and training objectives.

Product & Service Innovation

• Drives product strategy and roadmap for learning analytics and AI/ML platforms.
• Aligns technical delivery with client needs, regulatory frameworks, and learning science.
• Maintains lifecycle management, continuous enhancement, and feedback-driven iteration for all analytic offerings.

HR Leadership & Capability Building

• Leads recruitment, coaching, and career development of consultants, analysts, and learning data scientists.
• Supervises technical and non-technical teams across project delivery, innovation, and client engagement.
• Fosters a high-performance culture and ensures domain capabilities remain future-ready through skills development and mentoring.

Operational and Functional Oversight

• Develops performance forecasting models and analytic-driven business plans.
• Collaborates with finance, legal, and HR to support business operations, contract compliance, and workforce planning.
• Ensures governance and ethical use of AI/ML models and learner data.

Qualities Valued

• 5+ years of progressive experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience in the education or training industry preferred, especially in digital transformation or EdTech strategy.
• Demonstrated success in managing analytics or consulting P&L, business development, and client delivery.
• Strong product management and commercialization experience.
• Domain Expertise in Data Analytics (as Subject Matter Expert)
  • Statistical modeling and machine learning (e.g., classification, clustering, regression, NLP)
  • Educational data mining (EDM) and learner modeling
  • Visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SAS)
  • Data governance, security, and privacy in learning contexts
  • Forecasting and prescriptive analytics for workforce development
  • Knowledge of learning architectures such as Total Learning Architecture (TLA).
