Data Analytics – BI Analyst

This role involves providing crucial data analytics support to various business stakeholders. You’ll be instrumental in analyzing data, generating reports, and unearthing key insights to inform business strategy. A core part of the position involves collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and then implementing those changes.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide data analytics support to business stakeholders, encompassing data analysis, reporting, and delivering actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and facilitate their implementation.
  • Gather requirements from the business for the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and other data visualizations to support effective business decision-making.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that directly inform business strategy.
  • Oversee the development and ongoing management of reporting, analysis, and the derivation of key customer metrics.
  • Work closely with the Data Engineering team to define key data pipelines.

Who You’ll Be

  • Possess at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • An understanding of banking, insurance, or financial services is preferred.
  • Have prior experience with BI reporting tools such as Power BI or QlikView.
  • Demonstrate the ability to analyze, identify, visualize, and describe key trends within large datasets.
  • Possess prior experience with leading analytical software tools and leading database environments.
  • Be curious with a genuine passion for understanding “why?”.
  • Exhibit the creativity to see possibilities within the data and translate them into compelling stories, decisions, and actions for non-technical business users.
  • Possess strong communication skills and the ability to influence the business to act upon data-driven insights.
